Problem

All companies engaged in the field of foreign economic activity agency, during the pandemic, faced a rapid increase in requests for the preparation of exports of medical masks to China. The first and most obvious problem is the product search. This problem was faced by all entrepreneurs who wanted to organize the export of masks to China, including us. We had situations when we agreed with the manufacturer on the shipment of a large batch of masks and literally on the same day businessmen visited the factory and bought all the masks for cash. Excessive demand has inflated prices. If in September 2019 the wholesale price of one mask fluctuated around the ruble, then in March 2020, some manufacturers sold this product at a price of about 20-25 rubles per mask. It was not so easy to find masks at an affordable price. Another difficulty is, oddly enough, logistics.

Solution

Air traffic was partially closed. The only airline operating on flights to China, Aeroflot, has already begun to refuse to accept such cargo, all seats were booked weeks in advance, but thanks to our agency cooperation with Aeroflot, we managed to clear and send a batch of masks to China in time. But before doing all this correctly, we consulted with the consignee and ensured that he coordinated all the documents on the cargo with Chinese customs brokers in advance.

Result

We prepared, sent, and issued several batches of masks in a timely manner, thereby providing all possible assistance in the fight against Covid-19.
