Problem

A container with a cargo of expensive leather shoes was loaded onto a platform in the port of Vladivostok. During the inspection of the container, our representative discovered a problem with damage to the container in the roof area. Such damage can lead to the fact that the cargo will be soaked during transportation.

Solution

After the damage was detected, the container was removed from the site at our request. Repairs were carried out to eliminate the problem. Our company filed a claim with the line to fix the fact of damage to the container. We also warned the customer that there is a possibility of the cargo getting wet.

At the warehouse at the destination, the customer met the container together with our representative. After opening the container, it was discovered that the cargo had indeed been soaked.
