Delivery from Urumqi to Russia: types of transport
Sea transportation is not in demand, due to the considerable distance to the nearest port of 2500km. The main transportation options:
— Road transport. Mainly through Kazakhstan — through Barnaul or Novosibirsk. The period is from 10 to 12 days, the products will arrive at the Moscow or St. Petersburg warehouse within 15 to 20 days.
— Railway delivery. The Urumqi-Omsk-Moscow route. The train goes through Tyumen, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod. An alternative option is via Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan).
— Air transportation. The main method of transportation of especially valuable goods, with a limited validity period. Departure from Urumqi airport with arrival in the capital of Russia or St. Petersburg. The cost is several times higher than the delivery by rail or by road.
To optimize routes, we combine several types of transport, most often automobile with railway or aviation.

Delivery from Urumqi: types of cargo
We transport almost all types of consumer goods. Textiles, shoes, digital gadgets, computer equipment. We also provide delivery of special categories of goods:
- Lengthy ones. Transportation is carried out by train or special vehicle.
- They’re heavy. Including agricultural machinery, industrial equipment with loading onto open railway or automobile platforms.
- Perishable in refrigerated wagons, isotherms. We will select a transport that makes it possible to provide a suitable temperature and humidity regime.
- Dangerous goods. We have the appropriate permits, we carry out transportation mainly by trucks.
- Fragile goods. For greater reliability, we additionally pack with the use of fillers, shells and other devices that ensure the safety of products.
- Pallet delivery. Mostly EURO pallets.
When moving bulk cargoes, we always take care of their compatibility in order to avoid damage in the way.
Turnkey logistics;
Any formats of cooperation are available: a full package of logistics services, only the movement of goods along the route, individual conditions. Our capabilities:
- Purchases of goods in Urumqi. Our own representative will assess the situation on the market, select the most profitable supplier, negotiate, sign a contract on behalf of the customer.
- Registration of accompanying documents: invoices, certificates, licenses and others.
- Cargo handling, temporary storage, packaging, labeling. According to the client’s request, we will keep records of the goods.
- Loading and unloading by hand or with the use of special loaders.
- The passage of customs procedures. Experienced declarants will prepare and submit a customs declaration, ensure payment of duties, fees and other mandatory payments.
- An insurance policy on preferential terms with full compensation for damage in case of damage to the goods, losses caused by a delay in the way.
- Temporary storage in warehouses on the territory of the Russian Federation.
