When international multimodal transportation is profitable

The combination of different modes of transport is the optimal solution if:

• there is no direct communication between the points of departure and destination;
• the points of departure and delivery are separated by seas and oceans
• using one type of transport is not suitable for the deadlines, for example, if sending by rail or by road is available;
• mixed transportation will be cheaper.

Directions of mixed transport

The combination of different modes of transport is the optimal solution if:

• we pick up the cargo by road at the factory in any city, deliver it to our consolidation warehouse;
• after packaging and labeling, we deliver the products to the railway station, seaport or airport;
• we ship cargo by sea, by rail or by air transport to points in the Russian Federation
• after arrival in the Russian Federation, we carry out customs clearance and ship the products to their destination by trucks.

To ship goods by sea from China, we use the ports of Guangzhou, Ginseng, Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai Qingdao, Dalian. From Turkey, Istanbul, Izmir.

Transportation by rail is the most popular, because it gives a significant gain in terms of terms and costs. We pick up goods by road from any city in China and deliver them to the stations of Dalang, Shelong, Changsha, Nanchang, Nanjing, Xiamen, Chengdu, Chongqing and others. From them we send goods by fast trains. The delivery time to Moscow is not more than 20 days.

Road transport can be carried out from any city in the world, but is limited if the TIR Convention has not been signed between the countries, as with China, if the countries are separated by seas or mountains.

The cost of multimodal transportation is calculated individually. The table shows the estimated cost of mixed delivery schemes on the most popular routes.

Batch volumes

We deliver practically all types of cargo: from consumer goods to industrial equipment. The exception is raw materials. We provide small and large wholesale supplies of goods from China, Turkey, Europe, Asia. This may be a trial batch or a large-scale purchase of products. Most often, delivery is carried out in containers:

• standard: 20DC with a capacity of 34 m³ or 40DC with a capacity of 67.5 m³;
• increased capacity 40 High Cube (75.3 m³);
• refrigerated — for the transportation of perishable goods;
• tank-containers for liquid cargo.

We transport large aggregates and special equipment using container platforms. If the volume of the goods is not enough to load the container, we offer combined multimodal transportation. The type of container is selected by specialists based on the specifics of the cargo.
